These terms cover the Field Survival app and this website, both provided by Fieldstrip L.L.C. Installing or using the app means you accept them.

1. Your license

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Field Survival on devices you own or control, for your own use. The app and its content remain our property; buying it buys the license, not the software itself.

You may not redistribute, resell, sublicense, or publish the app or its reference content, or extract that content to create a competing product. You may not reverse engineer or decompile the app except where that restriction is unenforceable under applicable law.

2. Purchase and refunds

The app is free to download. The Pro unlock is a one-time purchase of $19.99, sold and processed through Google Play. It is not a subscription and there are no recurring charges.

Refunds are handled by Google under Google Play's refund policy, since Google is the seller of record. Request a refund through Google Play. If Google's process does not resolve your situation, write to us and we will try to help, though the final decision on a Play purchase rests with Google.

3. Reference content

The app contains reference information about gear, power, fuel, water, shelter, and related readiness topics. It is provided for general information only. It is not professional advice, and it is not a substitute for training, qualified help, or emergency services. See the Disclaimer, which forms part of these terms.

4. Your responsibility

You are responsible for how you use the information in the app, including for verifying anything before you rely on it, for your own safety, and for complying with the laws and regulations that apply where you are. Laws governing equipment, storage, fuel, water, and related matters vary by location and change over time.

5. No warranty

The app and this site are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that its content is complete, current, or correct.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fieldstrip L.L.C. is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, property, profits, injury, or death, arising out of or relating to your use of or inability to use the app, the site, or their content. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you actually paid for it.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

7. Availability and changes

We may update, change, or discontinue the app or any of its content at any time. If we change these terms, the updated version will be posted here with a new date, and continuing to use the app after that means you accept the change.

8. Termination

This license ends if you breach these terms. You may end it at any time by uninstalling the app.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Arizona.
